Great Life Great Love is here to help you build a Great Life to attract Great Love through Hollywood Movie and Happy Heart examples! Live from Santa Monica, California, Relationship Expert, Author and Great Love Reporter, Liz H. Kelly, shares her top 4 Golden Globe picks from her Great Love Reviews. After going to the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, she’s happy to share that 2 of her picks were Sundance hits. Kelly will be reporting live at Sundance 2010, and will continue to keep you updated on all the awards buzz and love tips around movies.
Have you heard about the Sundance hit, An Education that is getting rave reviews from both the critics and viewers? In this romantic movie, we learn a ton about naïve love from Carey Mulligan (Jenny) and Peter Sarsgaard (David) who tempts her with a Great Life, but falls short on being a Great Love. The movie takes places in the suburbs of London in 1960s, and is filled with creative twists that make this movie a must see!
Along with a ton of laughs, there are Great Love lessons in the hot summer hit, The Hangover. While most of the movie is about a wild bachelor party, the tigers come out in Las Vegas and Los Angeles to test the trust in their relationships. As soon as someone starts challenging you with crazy Tiger Talk, you want to run. Here’s the Entourage, Wild Tigers and Cool Cougars in this fun comedy.
Great Life Great Love is here to help you build a Great Life to attract Great Love! Liz Kelly Live presents this cool fireworks video from the beach at the Santa Monica Pier’s 100th Birthday Party on 09/09/09! Many Hollywood movies were also filmed on this pier and gave us some great life lessons. Below are 5 films shot at this hot movie location. But first, sit back, enjoy the fireworks show, and fill your life up with fun events like these!
We’ve got some exciting romance movies coming out this summer. To bring out the love lessons from the big screen, we’ll be posting Great Love Reviews with the highlights (no spoilers!). After all, movies are scripted to make us emotionally charged and think about life and love. Below is our Top 10 sizzling summer line-up recommended for your romance movie calendar.
Hawaii is magical place where many Hollywood Movies have been filmed. Enjoy these 5 Great Love Review videos filmed at famous scene locations from Great Life Great Love, http://www.greatlifegreatlove.com. From Blue Hawaii with Elvis Presley and Joan Blackman to Forgetting Sarah Marshall with Jason Segel and Kristen Bell, Hollywood keeps telling us love stories from the islands. Mahalo, Aloha, and Good Luck finding your Great Love!
If you’re ready for a refreshing take on relationships on the big screen, go see 500 Days of Summer with Zooey Deschanel (Summer) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Tom). While there is heartache in this movie, the story gets 5 stars for being so cleverly presented. We can all relate to longing for a lover who’s just not into us. After trying to see this movie at Sundance and the LA Film Festival, it was a relief to finally watch it on a big digital screen with an awesome guy friend!
If you want to laugh out loud at a guy’s dating rules, go see The Ugly Truth with Katherine Heigl (Abby) and Gerard Butler (Mike). Based on pure entertainment value, this movie gets 5 stars in my book for bringing out absurd relationship advice and fun. Just when Katherine thinks she knows what true love looks like, Gerard gives her some twisted advice in this romantic comedy.
If you’re ready for some great laughs and fun summer love, check out Sandra Bullock (Margaret) and Ryan Reynolds (Andrew) in the hot new movie, The Proposal. We’ve all met strong, single women at work who appear to have no life or feelings. This movie gets 5 stars for bringing out what every woman wants (despite title) in very funny and awkward moments.
If you’re ready for a great love escape to Greece for mojo, coffee and magic, go see My Life in Ruins with Nia Vardalos (Georgia) and Alexis Georgoulis (Poupi). It’s summer love at it’s best from Hollywood and the writer of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. You’re guaranteed to see cool scenery along the Mediterranean coast, laugh out loud and dream about Greek Lovers.
Wow, have you seen the movie, Pride and Prejudice (2005) with Keira Knightly (Lizzie Bennett) and Matthew Macfayen (Mr. Darcy)? This film gets 5 stars in my book because it gives awesome examples of what works and doesn’t work in relationships. You can see powerful Great Lover signs in their smiles and sincere messages, along with Bad Lover red flags that make you cringe.
If you’re ready for a playful and entertaining romantic comedy, check out the hot new movie, I Love You, Man. You’ll find it uplifting to watch Paul Rudd (Peter Klaven) transform from a whimp into a Confident Metro Male who is unstoppable. When Paul gets engaged to Rashida Jones (Zooey), he gets hit with the reality that he has no male friends and goes on a search for a best man. He’s got a fiance, but forgot to build a great life.
We’ve all met a player like Connor Mead (Matthew McConaughey), who plays the self-absorbed bachelor in the Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. While there are some great laughs in this film, the main problem is the guys who really need to see it, probably won’t go. My challenge to all women and men who’ve seen great girlfriends get hurt (like Jenny Perotti played by Jennifer Garner in this movie), is to get these gamers to watch this story.
Have you seen the movie, He’s Just Not That Into You? It’s about all those crazy things that singles and married people do to mess up their relationships. This movie gets 3 stars for the love lessons about the Bad Lover Signs that should blast the alarm bells and make you run for the nearest exit! You want a relationship to go from Good to Great Love, and a Bad Lover only spells trouble and heartache.
Do you ever wonder whether true love still exists? Check out the hot Sundance Film Festival hit, Paper Heart, and doubt no more. Charlyne Yi (main character) takes you on a heart-warming quest across the U.S. by interviewing lovers about how they found their special love connection (which is very similar to the advice tips and success story interviews in my books, Smart Man Hunting and How to Attract Great Love.
